Suspects in Nurin Jazlin's murder sue govt, police

KUALA LUMPUR: Textile shop owner Mohd Zamri Ibrahim, 35, and his brother-in-law Mohd Suhaimi Yusoff, 30, who were suspects in the 2007 murder of Nurin Jazlin Jazimin, are suing the government and police for wrongful arrest and trespass.
Their lawyer Azmer Md Saad filed the suit on their behalf at the Sessions Court civil registry Friday.
Zamri said he was seeking to clear his tarnished name.
The father of three said his family suffered humiliation over his arrest and detention.
